| TSI Tech: A Corporate Culture of
Giving Back and Striving to Improve the Lives of Others
It is very easy for all of us as human beings to get so wrapped up in
the business of doing business, and the joys and frustrations of technology,
that we don’t take time to look outward – to step outside
of our little area of the world and see the needs of others. As TSI Tech’s family continues to grow – in both the number
of members and depth of relationships – not only will we always
strive for improvement from within, but we will also work to look outside
of our organization, to identify needs and serve others. It is in that
spirit that our staff participates in many outreach efforts, beginning
with our leadership, and filtering down to every level of our organization. Some examples of TSI staff's service to community include: SCIP
Program to local High School students where real life issues are
discussed involving the consequences of bad decisions. We concentrate
on the prevention of spinal cord and brain injuries by explaining real
life injuries and the effects these injuries have on the victim, family
and friends. Prevention of these injuries is our goal. MC3
Food Pantry and Feed the Children are a focus of our community involvement.
MC3 is a food pantry operated in partnership with Granger Community Church
and Feed the Children. MC3 serves the Monroe Circle Community in South
Bend and provides free food that is donated by Feed the Children as a
conduit for a better relationship so that life skills may be offered
and taught to help break the cycle of poverty. Volunteers pack thousands
of boxes of donated food at the Feed the Children distribution center
in Elkhart each month. TSI’s staff members participate or have participated in various
other community and church-related outreach programs, including fund-raising
for organizations such as the Make-A-Wish
Foundation, youth group missions/community
service efforts like Group Workcamps, etc.
We tell you this to not only share with you the character of our TSI
Tech family, but hopefully to inspire you to look at your own company
to explore the ways that you can strengthen the bond within your own
organization while helping those outside your doors! If you’d like to learn more about any of these organizations,
